School Staff Information/Guidelines for Digital Learning Days
Assignment Frequency and Length
- Should be age appropriate
- 30 min of work per course is a reasonable expectation for most academic courses
- On Digital Learning Days (DLD) class assignments will be posted by 8 a.m..
- Be smart, keep things manageable and realistic.
- Start simple, begin with short assignments concentrating on standards already taught.
- No more than one large assignment per week. Beg, borrow and steal ideas
- What are some ways that teachers can ensure that kind of ongoing engagement?
Attendance
- Should be determined by course assignments completed
- Monday - Thursday
- Fridays are designated PL days
- Be mindful of the camera!!
- Cover the camera unless you are using it
- Dress appropriately
- Be aware of camera angles

Office Hours
- Staff members should be available for either direct instruction or for live instruction/ discussion with students or parents 3 hours a day.
